Gail Holmen has enjoyed a successful career in high tech including being selected for the Women in Technology award which recognized Gail’s achievements as a leading executive in a sales and marketing capacity.
Gail’s personal walk with God has always been the strong foundation of her life. Over the years Gail has been active in sharing her faith through speaking, writing, and teaching. Serving as a Bible study teacher for many years, Gail has taught adult classes, as well as leading a small group ministry at her church.
Professionally, Gail has held executive positions in sales, marketing and operational management while eking out time to garden during the past fifteen years. With a startling forte in organizational management, Gail developed and tested the Green Thumb framework over more than a decade in the “dirt,” so to speak. And, while not an exact match for everyone’s personality, it has proven to be a welcome method for gardeners to chronicle their growing worlds.
An accomplished public speaker, Gail developed the Green Thumb workshops to provide an interactive forum in which gardeners come together and delve into the innards of the system, customizing it for their personal needs. It is a fun and interactive session and everyone comes away with something they can build upon.
