The new year often inspires gardeners to
organize everything from their ideas and dreams to photographs
and lists of what's planted, not to mention notes on successes
and failures. This organizer, a three-ring binder and loose-leaf
pages of paper and plastic, offers gardeners a pleasant way to
save and then find information about their landscape. The organizer
is neatly divided into five sections that allow a homeowner room
to record the progress of the landscape, write down goals, list
favorite plants, evaluate projects and remember activities. It
also has space for writing down thoughts and ideas for the future.
I especially like the plastic pages, which are sleeves the author
recommends for clippings and memorabilia. I think they would
also be good for the myriad of plant tags loaded with important
information that you wind up with after planting a bed. The author
has special paper pages designated for these tags, as well.
